Finally! Pokémon Go has launched in South Korea, six months after its debut. The delay was because the game uses Google Maps, but South Korea has limited mapping functions like that due to North Korean security concerns. 

The day before Yakuza 6 comes out in Japan, its release in South Korea has been cancelled. It was supposed to come out in 2017. In an official release (via tipster Sang), PlayStation Korea said the decision was “due to the nature of the content.” Hrm...

Civilization Online, which launched only in Asia, is shutting down in South Korea. According to the developer’s website (via tipster Sang), the studio will attempt to reintroduce Civ Online with a better gameplay focus. For now, its last playable day is December 7.
