Ghost Recon Wildlands’ new Rainbow Six Siege cross-over mission is now live in the game as part of this week’s free Special Operation 2 update. In “Operation Archangel,” more extra-judicial, paramilitary stuff goes down in Bolivia as you assist Twitch and Valkyrie in finding a missing operator.
Ghost Recon Wildlands’ next free update is out July 24. Special Operations 2 will include a Ghost Mode featuring permadeath, as well as an option to turn off AI companions and travel the world completely alone. Ubisoft is also overhauling the Prestige credit economy so they can be earned in the campaign.
Ghost Recon Wildlands will get a Special Operations update on April 10. It’s one of four free updates coming in year two that include story missions, PvP modes, and additional features. The first adds Sabotage multiplayer and five maps along with the ability to customize AI teammates in the campaign.
