Good news for people who like dragons and dragon flying and dragon fanfiction: Square Enix just announced that they're bringing the action-RPG Drakengard 3 to North America and Europe next year for PS3. It'll be $50.
Drakengard 3 (Or as it's known in Japan, Drag-On Dragoon 3), the 10th anniversary celebration of the original Drakengard is gearing up for its release this autumn. To get fans excited, Square Enix has been steadily releasing new information on the game to keep them interested.
Drag-on Dragoon 3 or, as we know it, Drakengard 3, hits the PS3 in Japan on October 31. It'll be available in two editions: standard, and tenth anniversary box. The latter will include a bunch of goodies, including a DLC key, a novel, a remix CD, and artbooks pertaining to each of the four (including Nier) games.
It's been 10 years since Drakengard (Called Drag On Dragoon in Japan) was released for the PlayStation 2 and 8 years since the release of its sequel, Drakengard 2. Now, Drakengard 3 is on the way, and according to producer Takamasa Shiba, it's the perfect time for it.
Square Enix is readying a new Drakengard game. Dubbed Drakengard 3 (Drag-On Dragoon 3 or ドラッグオンドラグーン3 in Japanese), the action role-playing game follows the adventures of Zero (ゼロ) and her younger sister named "One" ("Wan" or ワン).
