Microsoft has updated its rules regarding videos that include footage from its games to allow creators to make money from ads—as long as they don't use the game's title in their video titles or include anything the company considers "objectionable" (does that mean no Spartan poop stance clips?). In Japan, Shinji Mikami's upcoming game The Evil Within will be sold as a toned down version when it's released here on October 23. To get the full version, Game Impress Watch reports that Japanese gamers can download content called "Gore Mode DLC," which is being offered as pre-order bonus.
The Xbox One with Kinect bundle sure is pricy in South Korea! Today, it was listed at 598,000 Korean won ($592), but that's slightly cheaper than what was listed earlier this month. Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi is working on a new role-playing game. Called Terra Battle, it is slated for smartphones. Details are currently scant, but Sakaguchi reveals more about the game in the upcoming issue of Famitsu.
