Soundcore’s Boom 2 Plus Portable Bluetooth Speaker delivers large, party-ready sound to the beach, backyard, or campsite. The 2.0 version of BassUp boosts output to 140W, while the 2+2 stereo configuration of dual woofers and dual tweeters delivers high-quality highs and solid lows. Waterproof, IPX7-rated, floating, and delivering up to 20 hours of battery life, the Boom 2 Plus keeps music on hand all day.
A waterproof boombox-style speaker with four drivers and a power bank
Designed specifically for outdoor events and gatherings, the Boom 2 Plus comes packed with features, including 140W maximum output, BassUp 2.0, two 50W woofers and two 20W tweeters, a full-band Pro EQ within the Soundcore app, PartyCast 2.0, RGB lighting, 30W fast-charge capability, and a built-in power bank for charging mobile devices, all wrapped in a rugged boombox-style enclosure with a sturdy carrying handle. With active crossover technology, the two 50W woofers and two 20W tweeters work in tandem, ensuring each driver handles the frequencies it was designed for. Normally, the speaker outputs 100W of sound, but when BassUp 2.0 is activated, that number jumps to 140W, delivering louder, deeper bass for larger outdoor gatherings.
Depending on how loud you play the speaker, battery life can reach 20 hours at 50 percent volume with BassUp and the lights off, and you can recharge it with 30W fast charging in about three hours. The integrated power bank allows you to charge your mobile device at up to 10W when you don’t have access to an outlet. Carrying the speaker from your vehicle to the campsite is easy thanks to the heavy-duty handle on top, and if you’d rather carry it on your shoulder, the included strap lets you do that.
Being IPX7-rated means this speaker can withstand rain, occasional splashes from a pool, and it floats if submerged. As long as you put the waterproof cover on the speaker before it gets wet, you don’t need to worry. With that waterproofing, the speaker is suitable for events like pool parties, beach trips, and boat excursions.
Through the Soundcore app, you get a full-band Pro EQ to tailor the sound to your preferences, from bass-heavy tracks to crisp vocals, plus full control over the RGB lighting to sync with your music. PartyCast 2.0 lets you pair more than 100 other Soundcore-compatible speakers for amplified sound, or connect two Boom 2 Plus speakers to create true stereo.
The Soundcore Boom 2 Plus Portable Bluetooth Speaker offers an ideal blend of strong sound reproduction, long-lasting battery life, and an ultra-durable, fully waterproof design. Whether you plan to host pool parties, camping adventures, or weekend BBQs in your yard, this speaker will deliver enough sound for any group size.
