A couple of times a year, Amazon likes to open the floodgates with deep discounts and opportunities to save across a plethora of products by inventing its own holiday out of thin air. This season’s flavor goes by the name of Prime Big Deal Days. If you’re just finding out about it now, I’ve got bad news. It’s already ended. This two-day sales event hosted by Amazon stretched from Tuesday, October 6 through Wednesday, October 7. It was a great opportunity to pick up some gifts for the holiday ahead of schedule. If you did miss out, you’re not out of luck yet. Some items still have deals that remain active.
Among these deals that still persist on the site is a tall price reduction for the Sony WH-CH520. These wireless Bluetooth on-ear headphones normally sell for $70, but the discount has brought them down by more than half—53% to be precise. That cuts out $37, leaving you only having to pay $33 for a limited time.
All Day Listening
Sony designed these on-ear headphones to be comfortable enough for extended use. The WH-CH520 headphones are made to be lightweight with ear cups that are able to swivels so they can gently slide on or off. Its headband also has a plush cushion and it can be adjusted to fit heads of all sizes.
The battery life also supports all-day listening. After charging it up to 100%, you’ll be able to listen continuously for up to 50 hours. That’s more than two straight days of letting Chumbawamba talk in your ear about getting knocked down and then getting back up again on repeat.
If you ever find yourself having forgotten to charge the headphones, no need to sweat. A quick charge of just three minutes can bring them back up to providing as much as 90 minutes more. That’s enough to listen to “Tubthumping” over 19 more times.
The Sony WH-CH520 are also good outside of just listening to music. With your phone paired, you can answer calls on the headphones as they have a built-in microphone. Keep your phone in your pocket while you chat with family, friends, or colleagues totally hands-free.
Amazon has the Sony WH-CH520 headphones available in a handful of different color options. Some are still full price, others only available pre-owned, but you can still grab yourself a pair in either blue, cappuccino, or white at the discounted rate of just $33. Pick whichever of the three best matches your own personal tastes.
