Managing data can get a bit tricky when your devices have limited available storage, but you still want to keep all your stuff close. This is where an external portable drive can help. These can house all the things that your main drive does not have room for, while also being compact and easy to carry around.
If you’re shopping for one, the 2TB SanDisk portable SSD is worth a look. It’s spacious and fast, plus happens to be discounted by 26% on Amazon today. Normally over $400, this SSD is currently going for $300, so now is a good time to grab it. The 2TB model should be right for most people, but if you need more or less space, this SSD also comes in several other storage capacities, starting from 500GB and going all the way up to 8TB. Just keep in mind that not every size is discounted at the time of writing.
Pocket-sized SSD
This pocket-sized drive is really easy to travel with. It’s lightweight and small enough to fit into any bag (or your pocket) without taking up too much space, so carrying it should be pretty hassle-free.
Getting started with using it couldn’t be any easier, as you don’t need to download any additional drivers or go through a complicated installation process. The drive supports a simple plug-and-play setup, which means you only need to connect it to your device via a USB-C cable.
Transfer speeds of up to 1000 MB/s make it easy to move files around quickly, even when you’re dealing with larger data. That’s about five times faster than what most traditional drives of the same capacity get you. The 2TB version also has plenty of space to store all your important files and media content. You likely won’t need another external storage for a good while with this at hand, unless of course you regularly deal with an unusually large number of files.
It’s pretty durable and can survive drops of up to two meters without damaging your data. Knowing your drive won’t lose all your important files with a single, accidental bump or drop just adds a bit more peace of mind while using it, too.
Altogether, if you’re looking for an easy way of managing storage, investing in an external portable drive can help. This one is now down to $300 at Amazon, all thanks to a 26% discount. It won’t stay at this price for long, though, so you’ll want to grab yours now.
