The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite is the entry point to Samsung’s premium Galaxy Tab S10 lineup, the more affordable companion to the higher-end S10 Ultra and S10+ models that ship with the same Galaxy AI features at a much lower price. The Tab S10 Lite has a 10.9-inch LCD display, an included S Pen for note-taking and drawing, expandable storage up to 2 TB through a microSD card, and a battery rated for around 16 hours of video playback per charge.
A capable tablet with all the bells and whistles you need for productivity and fun
The S10 features a 10.9-inch display with a 1920×1200 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate makes scrolling through websites and social media feel fluid, and games look smoother. As for brightness, it can reach 600 nits outdoors, and it supports HDR from services like Netflix and Disney+. The screen also pairs with an S-Pen to let you write notes, markup up PDFs, and draw using applications such as Clip Studio Paint, Samsung Notes, and others.
Galaxy AI brings most of the AI features from the higher-end S10 models down to this tier. You get Note Assist, which generates summaries, transcribes voice memos, and translates handwritten notes between languages. Sketch to Image takes your rough drawings and generates polished AI-generated artwork, useful for brainstorming and concept work. There’s also Circle to Search, which lets you circle anything on the screen and pull up search results, useful for identifying products, plants, or anything else that catches your eye.
Unlike the iPad lineup, where the Apple Pencil is sold separately, you get the S-Pen with the S10. The pen attaches magnetically to the side of the tablet for storage and uses no battery, since it draws power from the screen itself. Note-taking precision and palm rejection both work well for writing essays, marking up PDFs, or sketching out ideas.
The tablet comes with 128GB of internal storage. However, unlike the iPad, it also has a microSD card slot that lets you expand up to 2TB. For basic use like web surfing, watching videos, and light multitasking, you should find the S10’s 6GB of memory more than sufficient. Battery life is outstanding, and the tablet gets about 16 hours of continuous video playback per charge. The S10 charges via USB-C at up to 25W, and a full charge takes approximately 2 hours.
The Tab S10 Lite is usually $350, but Amazon is selling it for $300 right now. For that price, you get the tablet, the S Pen, and the USB-C charging cable. That’s everything you need to set up Galaxy AI and start using the tablet for note-taking, streaming, or schoolwork.
