It’s nice to have a big TV in your living, both for your own and your guests entertainment. But when it’s not being used, it’s just a big black rectangle, taking up almost an entire wall. Not exactly pretty to look at. Well, Samsung has flipped the script on what a TV can do when it’s “off.” The popular Frame TVs from Samsung give screens a purpose when not in use, and are beautiful to look at. Plus, right now, Amazon happens to have some of them on sale.

You can choose between a number of sizes for Samsung’s ‘The Frame’ smart TV. For a limited time, you can save as much as 37% on one of these TVs over at Amazon. The discounted rates end up as the following: The 85-inch Pro is now $3,000 (down from $3,297), the 75-inch Pro is now $1,900 (down from $2,998), and the 65-inch Pro is now $1,500 (down from $2,097). A Work of Art You Can Watch

So, what’s all the fuss about The Frame? It’s not your standard TV. This panel has a matte finish that shows practically no glare at all. It’s surface up close could actually be mistaken for a printed piece of art.

When it’s off, it doesn’t just go to sleep and leave you with a black void. Instead, it enters “Art Mode” and displays images of your choice, whether that’s your own personal photos or curated pieces from Samsung’s extensive Art Store. If you’re worried about energy consumption—don’t be. The TV has a built-in motion sensor that only activates the art when it detects someone in the room. Talk about efficient.

And don’t forget, The Frame doesn’t just shine in art mode—it’s also a high-end TV. The QLED 4K screen offers stunning picture quality with billions of colors thanks to Samsung’s quantum dot technology. The anti-glare technology ensures that no matter where you’re sitting, you’ll get a crisp and vibrant image.

The design of The Frame itself is worth mentioning too. The bezel comes in a variety of colors, including brown, black, teak, beige, brick red, and white, so it can seamlessly match your home’s décor. Plus, swapping out the bezel is a breeze, so if you decide to switch up your living room style, the TV can follow suit.

If you’re skeptical about how this thing actually looks in action, head over to your local Best Buy and check it out. The display is incredibly impressive, with no glare at all, and it really does look like a matte painting when showing static images.
