Prime Day is in full stride. It’s day one of this four-day Amazon sales event. From today until Friday, June 26, you’ll be able to find deals across a wide range of products over at the giant online retailer’s website.
Among these various deals and discounts is the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+. This tablet only released earlier this year in January, but thanks to Prime Day, you can now snag one for a staggering 43% off. This big discount takes the price from where it launched at $300 down by $130. It’s now going for just $170—its lowest price yet.
This tablet at its lowest price point comes with 128GB of storage. It’s working with an 11-inch screen that displays in a 1920 by 1200 pixel resolution at a 16:10 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It’s a perfect size to just kick back on the couch to browse through the apps, queue up a movie, or start responding to emails you’re behind on.
New Chipset
The Tab A11+ has pretty solid performance with its 8GB of RAM and new processors. When compared to the previous model, the upgraded chip is able to deliver a 26% boost to CPU power as well as an 83% increase in performance for the GPU. The apps all run smoothly and you can multitask, hopping between different apps pretty seamlessly.
This Galaxy tablet comes with four built-in speakers that get the job done. Samsung has called them cinema-like in its marketing materials, and the “-like” is doing a lot of heavy lifting. here. That’s not to say you won’t be satisfied with the speakers, just don’t expect this handheld rectangle to be comparable to the movie theater experience. It does have support for Dolby Atmos though, which is nice.
The battery life on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ is reliable. The exact numbers haven’t been shared by Samsung, but the tablet’s battery does have a max capacity of 7,040mAh and support charging at speeds of 25W. That’s enough battery to get you through the day and fast enough charging to get it back up fairly quickly.
Now just like every other new piece of hardware of the last few years, Samsung is promoting the Galaxy Tab A11+ alongside its AI features. The particular flavor of AI this one’s working with is Google Gemini which enables enhanced functionality.
