Monitors, especially the ones specifically made for gaming, can cost you a lot. Even the basic ones can set you back a few hundred dollars, which is why we always recommend waiting for sales before making such upgrades. Right now, Prime members can pick up the 32-inch Samsung Odyssey (G55C) curved gaming monitor at a whopping 42% discount. This feature-packed screen is now only $190, down from $330.
Not a Prime member? Don’t worry. You can get the monitor for $237, which is still a really nice $93 discount. Shipping is free for all shoppers, so there are no other major costs to worry about. You’ll just need to act fast, as this lingering deal from Amazon’s October Prime Day event is expected to expire soon. Once it’s gone, we may not see another offer this big on it anytime soon, at least not until Black Friday.
Immersive gaming experience
For under $200, you’re getting a spacious screen that has enough room to comfortably work and play. The curved design wraps around your field of vision, which minimizes distractions and pulls you into whatever’s happening on the screen for a more immersive experience.
Of course, picture quality matters when you’re spending long hours gaming, and this monitor handles that part exceptionally well too. Its QHD resolution delivers sharp, detailed visuals for all your favorite titles. HDR-10 support takes this a bit further with richer colors and an overall better contrast. This especially makes a difference when you’re playing a game with a lot of darker scenes, since you’ll be able to make out all the details much more easily. What’s more, there’s a dedicated Eye Saver mode that actively minimizes blue light and keeps your eyes relaxed as you use your PC.
Performance-wise, you’re covered with a 165Hz refresh rate that reduces lag, along with a 1ms response time for minimal blur. The result? Smooth gameplay without any frustrating slowdowns! This is also where AMD Radeon FreeSync can help. This one keeps the refresh rates of your monitor and graphics card in sync to reduce image tearing, giving you a superfluid entertainment experience.
All in all, if you’re looking to add a new monitor to your gaming setup and need something budget-friendly, the 32-inch Samsung Odyssey (G55C) curved gaming monitor is an excellent option to consider at its current price. It’s now available for $190, down from $330 for Prime members. Other shoppers can pick it up for $237 today. Hurry and grab the deal while it’s still around.
