It’s no secret that buying PC components right now is more than a little bit rough. Things are expensive, and it means that you’re going to need to keep an eye on deals whenever you’re looking to buy basically anything. Well, thanks to the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days, there are a bunch of great chances to pick up all sorts, including components. Today, we’ve found a solid discount on a processor.
The AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D Processor is a solid way to keep your PC going, and while it’s normally going to set you back $479, that’s not the case today. Today, you can pick it up for $411 instead, and that’s a much more appealing price. This is only for Amazon Prime members, but this is also one of those deals that pretty much covers the cost of the subscription itself, so it might be worth it for you to sign up just for this.
Speed, Power, And More
AMD processors have a lot going for them, including being incredibly reliable, and generally punching above their weight. This one has eight cores and 16 threads, so you’ll have no issues getting most programs going, even with some more demanding games. We all know you’re probably looking to have games going, so this is a great way to do so. Despite all of that power, it manages to stay cool thanks to the way it’s built, and it’s also a lot more energy-efficient than some other options, which means you’ll save a bit more money down the line as well.
This one’s especially good for gaming thanks to the 96MB cache as well, so you can rely on it to keep your games smooth, no matter what you’re throwing at it. On top of all of that, you can also get a free Onimusha code with AMD purchases right now, which is a very good excuse to push the limits of what this mighty processor can do. Also, we like free stuff, and we assume you do too. Also keep in mind that you’re going to need to install this yourself, or call your tech person to do it for you in exchange for a cookie or something.
This is an amazing processor in general, but it really excels when it comes to gaming. It’s also one that we’re not sure will go on sale again any time soon, so if you do want to pick it up, getting it right now while it’s down to $411 is a must.
