Game Everywhere
While it’s not as powerful as the Nintendo Switch 2, the original Switch still has plenty of amazing games to play on it. You’ve got amazing games to play with Mario, Zelda, the Squid Kids, and so many more. Plus, because it’s a little older, a lot of those games can actually be found on sale here and there, although Nintendo still likes to keep sales short and sweet. There’s also a massive number of amazing indie games to check out like Loop Hero, Vampire Survivors, and basically everything else that has released in the last few years. You’ll have games to keep you company for decades to come.
This isn’t the usual one though, this is the OLED model. That means you’re getting the very crisp white Joy-Con controllers, but it also means you’re getting one of the best screens in portable gaming. The OLED screen is brighter, bolder, and more beautiful than the original Switch could come even close to. It’ll make you very happy to be gaming in handheld mode instead of just on you TV, but it’s always nice to have both options because it is a Switch, after all.
The Nintendo Switch OLED is still an excellent console, even if it isn’t the latest model for Nintendo fans. If you do want to pick it up, whether as a treat for yourself or as an amazing gift for somebody else, then doing it now while it’s down to $368 makes perfect sense.
