On the prowl for a new laptop? If you’re a Mac user, chances are you’re still looking at more Macs. Once you’re part of the Apple ecosystem, it’s typically easier to stay in it. That means when it’s time to upgrade, you’ve got limited choice if you’re seeking the latest versions. It’s good to keep an eye on the various retailers to look for a sale. Right now is that time as Amazon has the 2026 MacBook Air on sale for as much has 13% off.
You have a few different choices when it comes to the Apple 2026 13.6-inch MacBook Air. It comes in three different configurations. Built for College, Leisure, Work, and More
The MacBook Air is a great option for anyone looking to do “regular” work on their laptop. By that I mean common tasks like writing up documents, browsing the web, responding to emails, etc. It’s not a gaming rig or anything, but it can run some lighter entertainment as well as be used for some light photo or video editing as well.
It’s all powered by the M5 chip which delivers solid performance and fluidity across apps. Multitasking is made easy and creative workflows are smooth and responsive.
Battery life is solid. You can expect a full charged 2026 MacBook Air to run for as much as 18 hours. This is enough to get you through an entire work or school day without having to rely on your charger.
The 13.6-inch screen looks stunning with its Liquid Retina display, supporting one billion different color. Photos and video pop with rich contrast and sharp detail. Text on display looks especially crisp.
The laptop is equipped with a 12MP front-facing camera that makes video chats possible. It supports a feature called Center Stage which is able to intelligently keep you in the center of frame. This allows you to walk around the room while eyes stay on you.
