You don’t need to spend crazy money to secure a good mouse and keyboard. There are plenty of options that are reasonably priced and get the job done. Logitech is one of the biggest names in the PC accessory space, offering both premium and budget options for everything. If you just need a basic mouse that does basic mouse things and a plain keyboard that does plain keyboard things, then look no further. The Logitech MK470 Slim Wireless Combo comes with both the keyboard and the mouse you’re looking for at an affordable level. It’s actually even on sale at the moment so you can get it for even less.
Normally, you would find the MK470 slim wireless mouse and keyboard selling together for $50 total. That’s pretty good, but we can do even better. Right now, Amazon is running a promotion that has brought the price down by 32%. This ends up dropping the price by $16, meaning you only have to pay $34 for a limited time.
Simple Plug-and-Play
This cordless combination of a mouse and a keyboard go for a low profile look and feel. The keyboard takes up just as much room as all the keys need to be present, and the keys all have a low travel distance for uses who prefer the feel of typing on a laptop keyboard.
The mouse is also small and not overly designed. It’s got its right click, left click, and scroll wheel. It has a symmetrical shape so it can be used ambidextrously. The small form factor of both the mouse and keyboard also make them easy to travel with if need be.
Each the mouse and the keyboard from Logitech are wireless. They support a long battery life, with the keyboard being able to reach up to 36 months and the mouse up to 18 months. They run on regular ol’ AAA batteries—two each.
The keyboard does allow for some customized functionality. The 12 FN buttons across the top can all be individually programmed to your liking using the Logi Options software.
Logitech even has the mouse and keyboard combo in multiple color options. You can choose between graphite, all gray, rose, or off white. All are on sale but not for the same amount. The most you’d end up paying is $40, but if you want it for the lowest price, get it in graphite. That’s the one that is going for just $34 for a limited time.
