LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon Sets Go on Clearance at an All-Time Low, With the Dark Starship Joining In

Choose one of these LEGO Star Wars kits to build for mega-fans of the franchise.

LEGO and Star Wars have been putting out sets together for more than 25 years, and two of the most popular right now are both takes on the Millennium Falcon. One is the 25th Anniversary LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon, a 921-piece display model built in the classic style of the ship Han and Chewie flew in A New Hope. The other is the LEGO Star Wars The Dark Falcon, a 1,579-piece playable version pulled straight out of the Disney+ special LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, where the whole universe gets flipped upside down. Both sets are marked down on Amazon at the same time, which doesn’t happen often with LEGO Star Wars releases this popular.

Head over to Amazon to get the LEGO Star Wars The Dark Falcon for just $150, down from its usual price of $180. That’s a $30 discount and 17% off. You can also grab the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon for just $68, down from its usual price of $85, for a $17 discount and 20% off.

Two LEGO sets perfect for Star Wars fans

The 25th Anniversary Millennium Falcon is the smaller of the two sets available and is designed primarily for display rather than play. It is approximately five inches in height, nine and a half inches in length, and seven and a half inches in depth. When completed, it sits atop an angled stand to give the illusion of evading Imperial TIE fighter fire. Also included with the 25th Anniversary Millennium Falcon is a commemorative 25th Anniversary brick and a nameplate, which adds a great personal touch for longtime fans of LEGO Star Wars.

The Dark Falcon takes the same ship in a different direction. It’s 17 inches long and 12.5 inches wide, made of black bricks with red accents, and loaded with features for kids who want to play with it. Flip-up panels open the detailed interior, which includes Darth Jar Jar’s throne, a command center, bunk beds, an entertainment area, and a jail cell. Two spring-loaded shooters, two rotating cannons, and a gunner post round out the action.

Six exclusive minifigures come with the Dark Falcon box and appear only in this set. Darth Jar Jar leads the crew with a double-bladed red lightsaber. Bounty Hunter C-3PO, Darth Dev, and Darth Rey join him, along with Beach Luke in beachwear and Jedi Vader in a white robe carrying a blue lightsaber. It’s a strange roster pulled out of the Rebuild the Galaxy alternate universe.

Between them, the Anniversary Falcon is geared toward adults who are looking for something nice on their shelf, and the Dark Falcon is geared toward those who want a spin on the traditional Falcon design or those who like the Rebuild the Galaxy special. There will be plenty of people who buy both just to see the same ship from two different corners of the Star Wars universe side-by-side.

The LEGO Star Wars The Dark Falcon is $150 down from $180, and the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon is $68 instead of $85. One is a wild playable take loaded with exclusive minifigures, the other a clean anniversary display piece, and this is a rare window to grab both at prices Star Wars fans don’t see often.
