Okay, all dumb jokes aside, LEGO has released a collaboration set with the Netflix adaptation of one of the most popular manga on planet earth, One Piece. This set of the Going Merry, iconic vessel of the Straw Hat Pirates, came out last summer and is now seeing its first major discount. Originally launching with a price tag of $140, you can now grab your own set for 20% off. This brings the price down to just $112, saving you a good $28 for a limited time.
Constructed from a total of 1,376 pieces, this LEGO pirate ship stands tall at over 13.5 inches high, 15.5 inches long, and 8 inches wide. The LEGO One Piece Going Merry Pirate Ship set is designed for builders ages 10 and up and features an impressive level of detail throughout. It houses a full crew’s cabin, kitchen, storage areas, and Usopp’s workshop. It even has the ram figurehead, a cannon, tall masts, and a rudder that really works. It’s a fantastic gift for any One Piece fan, be it they love the manga, the anime, the live-action, or all of the above.
Included with the set are all five original crew members of the Going Merry. This comprises of Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji.
