Star Wars sets are seeing some of the steepest discounts, and one of our favorite offers right now knocks 30% off the Star Wars: The Clone Wars Coruscant Guard Gunship set.
This $140 set is now available for $98 – just $3 more than its lowest ever price of $95 that we saw during last year’s Black Friday sale. The only caveat is that the offer is available to Prime members as of now.
Comes with five minifigures
The set is designed for young Star Wars fans (ages 9 and above), but putting it together is going to be just as enjoyable for adults. The set comes with just under 1,100 pieces, so it’s not one of those super quick builds that only take a few hours and one cup of coffee. This one requires a bit more patience, especially considering all the tiny details it packs in. You can dedicate a weekend to it – maybe host a Star Wars marathon night to really get in the feels!
The Gunship features two pilot cockpits, two stud shooters, two adjustable canons, and a handle for quick flying. There’s space inside the ship for troopers and important equipment, which you can access by pulling down the rear hatch and sliding open the side of the gunship. It also comes with five LEGO minifigures, including Chancellor Palpatine, Commander Fox with two blaster pistols, two Coruscant Guards (with their own blasters), and Padmé Amidala with one blaster pistol. The accessories especially add a more realistic touch, plus make it easy to recreate some of the most iconic scenes once the build is complete!
This set measures over 5.5 in. (15 cm) high, 14.5 in. (37 cm) long, and 16 in. (41 cm) wide. You can use the included booklet to get started with the build, or download the LEGO Builder app on your phone if you’d like more detailed, 3D instructions. The platform also lets you zoom in, rotate the set, and save your progress.
