Star Wars is once again hitting theaters soon, this time with The Mandalorian and Grogu being more space-faring fantasy to all of us, and that means it’s a great time to be a Star Wars fan. There’s all sorts of good deals and tie-ins going on right now, and you’ll be able to save some decent money on all sorts of things, including some great gifts. If you’re after something that’ll keep you happy for hours, or someone else, then going for a good Lego set is a must.
We’ve found an amazing deal on a Lego set today, but we’ve also found a second amazing deal on a different Lego set too. Both the Lego Star Wars R2-D2 Set and Ahsoka Chopper Astromech Droid Set are down by 20% right now, which means they’re $80 apiece. Those are fantastic prices, but if you really want to get them while they’re on sale, you’re going to want to be quick to avoid missing out.
Droid For All
R2-D2 is undoubtedly the more popular droid, but it’s also the one that most people might already have. The set is great for those who are ten or older, and comes with 1,050 pieces in total, which all combine to make a beautiful set. Once it’s all put together, you can rotate the head and the arms to pose it in different ways, making it great for putting in among other amazing Lego sets of all kinds. It even comes with a Darth Malek minifigure and a plaque, which is a nice little bonus.
While not as well known, the Ahsoka Chopper Astromech Droid, or C1-10P, is still a great Lego set. It’s from the Ahsoka show, and has 1,039 pieces. This one also comes with a plaque, but feels a bit more interactable thanks to the arms it has coming out at all angles, and the central wheel is detachable too, so you can muck around with it a little bit more. Whether they’re for display or just play, they make for amazing gifts for any Star Wars fan.
The only trouble with these deals is that Lego discounts don’t tend to stick around for very long. If you do want to get your hands on them, we recommend being as fast as possible, otherwise you run the risk of missing out on your chance to get them for $80 each, and there’s no way of knowing when the deals will come back.
