The Pinova P1 uses an AMD Ryzen Embedded R2544 processor. The processor is an embedded version of the Ryzen 5 4500U, meaning it is based on the same architecture but cannot be overclocked. However, the processor has 4 cores, 8 threads, 4 MB L3 Cache, and can run at up to 3.7 GHz. The processor has a 28 W TDP.
The processor is paired with 16 GB of DDR4 memory. According to KAMRUI, users can upgrade the memory to 32 GB in dual-channel mode. The processor is also paired with a 512 GB NVMe M.2 solid-state drive. Users can add additional storage to the Pinova P1 through the 2.5″ SATA drive bay.
One of the things that sets the Pinova P1 apart from other low-cost options, such as the Intel NUC, is its support for triple displays. The Pinova P1 has two HDMI 2.0 ports and one VGA port.
