Apple’s throwing out some impressive deals for Prime Day 2026, but they might want to take note of what Samsung’s doing with the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite. Not only is the S10 Lite cut in price to an all-time low of just $237, but the highly useful S Pen is included for free. Want to add an Apple Pencil to your new iPad? That’ll be $60, even for Prime Day.
Samsung doesn’t typically throw in the S Pen for free with the Tab S10 Lite. On the Tab S10 Ultra and Tab S10+, the included S Pen is part of what justifies the premium. Here, it’s bundled with a $237 tablet. The stylus integrates with Samsung’s note-taking and drawing tools, handles math problem solving through the camera, and operates with the kind of low latency that makes handwriting feel reasonably close to pen on paper. For students, anyone who annotates documents, or anyone who’s ever tried and failed to use a finger as a stylus, this is a big deal.
Sharp Look, and Smart Too
The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite runs on the Exynos 1380 processor, the same chip Samsung uses across several of its midrange Galaxy phones – with 6GB of RAM. It’s not going to go toe-to-toe with the S10 Ultra, but it handles streaming, web browsing, note-taking, and light multitasking without resistance. The 10.9-inch LCD display includes Vision Booster for automatic brightness adjustment in sunlight, which matters more for a tablet than a phone given how often tablets move between indoor and outdoor use. Storage starts at 128GB and affordably expands up to 2TB via microSD, which effectively means you’ll never have to manage storage on this device.
The S10 Lite’s battery gives you roughly 16 hours on a full charge, and can regain that full charge in just 2 hours via Samsung’s Super Fast Charging. Again, exceptionally competitive metrics from a $237 Android tablet.
Galaxy AI Loaded
That free S Pen will get plenty of use once you discover the Circle to Search feature on the Tab S10 Lite, which lets you search anything on screen by drawing a circle around it. The AI Hot Key on a compatible keyboard gives one-tap access to Samsung’s AI assistant tools for web searches, scheduling, and more. SmartThings integration means the tablet can double as a home control hub for connected devices.
Especially in the midst of Prime Day, there are cheaper tablets, and there are more powerful tablets. But the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite’s combination of a capable display, sufficient performance, expandable storage, and an included stylus at an all-time low price of just $237 gives it a decided edge over much of the competition.
