Do you love video games? More importantly, are you able to communicate your love of video games through the 21st-century medium of online video? Then we should talk.
Kotaku is looking for more New York City-based video editors—people who can capture, edit and narrate interesting video-game-related clips. It'd be like being a popular video game YouTuber, except we'd pay you a full-time salary and give you some awesome benefits, including fully-paid medical insurance and a sabbatical after four years. You'd also be getting access to games early. Fun! This is an entry-level position.
If you think you have what it takes, then e-mail jobs@kotaku.com. Include a résumé, but keep it in e-mail or online—no attachments. Please also include links to videos of you showing and/or talking about video games. We're looking for people with good ideas, a good voice and a comfort with a wide range of games. The job will be based in our offices in lower Manhattan.
Impress us. We'll be looking at submissions for the next week or so. Good luck!
