Phones have gotten crazy expensive. The latest iPhone or Samsung Galaxy can easily cost you over a thousand bucks. Heck, the new iPhone Duo starts at two thousand. Not everyone is looking to spend an entire month’s rent on a new phone every few years. Luckily you don’t have to. TCL has a pretty awesome Android phone for a fraction of the price. The TCL 60 XE NXTPAPER 5G with 128GB of storage normally sells for $250, but has come down by 28% over at Amazon. That ends up taking the price to just $180 for a limited time. You’ll be saving yourself $70 while the deal is active.

If 128GB is not going to do it for you, you can instead opt for the 256GB model. At twice the storage capacity, this version of the TCL 60 XE NXTPAPER 5G won’t cost you all too much more. It’s normally sold for $285, but Amazon has it now going for 30% off. This drops the price by $85, bringing the phone to an even $200 for a limited time.

A Display Mode for Every Situation

Screens and the outdoors do not mix well. On a bright, sunny day, I’ll be lucky if I can even make out a single text message on my current phone. The TCL 60 XE NXTPAPER is able to combat this problem, making use of four separate display modes that can cover any scenario you find yourself in. The NXTPAPER button on the side of the device will allow you to switch seamlessly through each viewing mode.

Standard Mode is what you’d expect, delivering rich visuals for everyday use.

Ink Paper Mode is able to mimic the look and feel of an e-reader, which mimics the look and feel of reading a book made of paper. This is great for avoiding glare when reading in a bright environment.

Color Paper Mode is like the previous, but still has color. Its good for viewing art or reading comics without dealing with the glare.

Max Ink Mode is similar to Ink Paper Mode except its paper-like effect is pushed even further while also helping to extend battery life for longer use.

Beyond just the four separate display modes, the phone is actively working to keep your eyes from feeling fatigued during extended use. The glare-free screen reduces blue light exposure by as much as 61%. Additionally, the eye care assistant is able to adjust the brightness and color temperature to your environment.
