The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is Google’s premium foldable Android smartphone with a 6.4-inch outer display for one-handed use and an 8-inch inner display for multitasking, video, and gaming. Both displays support a high refresh rate for fluid motion and offer brightness suitable for indoor and outdoor use. A triple-lens rear camera with telephoto zoom handles wide shots, landscapes, and distant subjects, with front cameras on both displays for selfies and video calls. Google’s Tensor G5 chipset runs Android with 7 years of operating system and security updates, along with Pixel-exclusive AI features for photo editing.

The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is currently $1,499 on Amazon, marked down $300 from $1,799 for a 17% discount.

A folding phone for Android fans and smartphone-seekers alike

The Pro Fold opens like a book to reveal a larger inner display, with the cover screen on the outside for use when the phone is folded shut. The hinge allows the phone to be held at multiple angles between open and closed, including a tabletop mode for hands-free video calls. Both displays use durable glass, with a polymer layer on the inner foldable screen. The crease in the inner display is visible at certain angles in indirect light, though it doesn’t affect touch response or image quality.

Both the outer 6.4-inch and the inner 8-inch displays use OLED technology, delivering deep blacks and vivid colors. The 120Hz refresh rate keeps scrolling and gaming fluid across both screens. Peak brightness works in direct sunlight for outdoor reading, and minimum brightness dims for nighttime use. Always-On Display shows the time, date, notifications, and music controls on the cover screen without unfolding. Multi-window split-screen on the inner display runs two apps side by side.

The back camera has an ultra-wide lens, a telephoto lens for close-up shots of people or distant objects, and a wide-angle main lens. There are also two front-facing cameras. One at the top of the cover display and the other on the inside of the device. So, you can take selfies or make video calls, whether the device is closed or open.

There are a few compromises the Pixel 10 Pro Fold makes for its dual-display design. The hinge and inner polymer screen require more care during handling, and the visible crease takes some getting used to. However, you still get IPX8 water resistance, 7 years of software updates, and a phone-and-tablet experience in one device. Unfortunately, the box doesn’t include a charger, so you’ll need to supply your own USB-C wall adapter.

The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold combines a phone and tablet in one device with premium camera hardware, multi-year software support, and Google’s Pixel AI features, and at $1,499, it’s a great deal for the foldable category. If you’ve been waiting for the Pixel Pro Fold lineup to drop into more affordable territory, the $300 off makes Google’s premium foldable more accessible.
