If you’re looking for an easy, almost effortless way of lowering utility bills and automating your home’s heating and cooling schedule, a smart thermostat can be a welcome addition to your space. The Google Nest Thermostat does a pretty good job at this, and it’s now under $100 on Amazon.
It seems as if the retailer has started its Black Friday celebrations early. It just dropped this compact yet powerful device by 39%, bringing it down to only $79 today – and that’s before any rebates. You can save even more with those, so be sure to check with your energy provider to see if you qualify for any available rebates.
This 39% discount applies to the Snow model. Prefer another color? Charcoal and Sand are discounted too, but they sit a bit higher at $90. You’ll get free standard shipping with each of these, so the discounted price is pretty much all you need to cover. You’ll just want to grab yours soon, as top-rated and popular items like this one usually sell out quickly.
Wide compatibility
This thing is easy to set up, and once it’s in place, it lets you manage your home’s temperature from anywhere. If manual control feels like a hassle, the dedicated app comes with a Quick Schedule feature, where you can create routines to automate the process! And while comfort is important, saving money is too. To help you with that, the thermostat can automatically turn itself down when you leave the house, so that the system isn’t heating or cooling an empty space.
In addition to that, Savings Finder looks for ways you can save even more, then suggests tweaks to your schedule accordingly. In case something feels off, the app lets you know immediately with a notification. And for times you don’t feel like tweaking settings in the app, you can control the thermostat with just your voice using Google Assistant or Alexa.
As for compatibility, the Nest thermostat works without a C wire in most homes. However, it won’t work with systems with stranded wires, wires connected by wire nuts, or those labeled 110V or 120V.
The Google Nest Thermostat in Snow is now discounted by 39% on Amazon. It’s now available for $79, after a nice $51 discount. Charcoal and Sand are on sale too, but they’re $11 more at $90. Shipping is free, and the deals are available to all shoppers. Just make sure your current system is compatible with the smart thermostat before you proceed with your purchase.
