If getting a mini PC has been on your wishlist for a while, you can now grab the GMKtec G11 while saving big.
Amazon is offering this top-rated compact PC for $310, which is 33% off its usual $460 price. That’s more than $100 back in your pocket that you can save or put toward other PC purchases if you’d also like to pick up a few more things for your setup while you’re at it.
Small but offers solid performance
The best thing about mini PCs is that they get you the performance your system needs in a compact, easy-to-manage form factor. These are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, so they won’t take too much space on your desk. You can place one near your monitor, or even mount yours at the back of the display/ under the table for a cleaner look. The design also makes them ideal for two kinds of setups; minimal ones where less is more, and already-cluttered stations that don’t have space for a bigger PC.
Performance-wise, you get what you’re paying for. The GMKtec G11 comes with a Ryzen Embedded R2514 processor, which offers about 30% better performance than other options in the same range, like Intel’s N150 and AMD 4300U. The 1.2GHz AMD Radeon GPU outperforms Intel’s N150 UHD too, so this PC is a good option for high-quality streaming and even a bit of light gaming!
This model comes with 16GB of memory (dual-channel) that makes multitasking with a bunch of tabs and programs easy. Additionally, since the processor can access the memory through two channels instead of one here, you can expect better speeds and an overall smoother performance, no matter the task at hand. Storage needs are taken care of with the spacious 256GB SSD, which has enough room to house all your important data without much problem, too.
Port selection is decent. Multitaskers who like to spread their work across a couple of screens will especially appreciate the dual HDMI 2.0 ports and the USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode, which let you connect up to three independent 4K@60Hz displays without adapters. Then there are dual 2.5GbE ports that make it possible to connect the system to two wired networks at the same time, which can really come in handy when setting up a home server, turning it into a VPN server, and more.
You can now grab it for $310 at Amazon today, instead of paying the full $460 price with the current Amazon offer.
