Hisense has created a line of TVs called CanvasTV that turn your TV into a work of wall art by displaying beautiful images when you’re not watching. Then, once you turn the TV back on, it becomes a 4K television again. This TV features a Hi-Matte display that delivers a paper-like image free from glare from sunlight or room lights, so the display looks like a painting on the wall.
Snag the Hisense 55″ Hi-QLED S7 CanvasTV Series 4K on Amazon for $700, down from $1,500. That trims $800 off the price, a 53% discount.
A 55-inch 4K TV with a matte screen, a wooden frame, and an art mode
The CanvasTV is for anyone looking for a television that fits into their home decor. The S7 CanvasTV has all of the features of a high-end television, including a 144Hz refresh rate for video game enthusiasts and sports fans, Hi-QLED color producing true-to-life images, Dolby Vision showing greater detail in both very light and very dark areas, and Google TV; it includes a wall mount and frame to hang flat against the wall.
The CanvasTV lets you display different pieces of artwork on your screen when you’re not watching TV. The CanvasTV comes with 120 pieces of artwork, preloaded on the device, at no charge. You may also load your own photographs onto the device. A motion sensor switches the CanvasTV to Art Mode when someone enters the room and turns it off when the room is empty to reduce power consumption.
The Hi-Matte coating on this model helps eliminate glare and reflections from sunlight and lamps, creating a clearer image. The Hi-Matte finish also gives artwork a soft, textured appearance similar to a real canvas. Hi-QLED color delivers vibrant, accurate colors, and Dolby Vision boosts brightness and contrast for better images in both very light and very dark areas. Filmmaker Mode also preserves films as filmmakers intended, without added processing.
Fast-action and sports viewers will enjoy the 144Hz refresh rate on the S7 CanvasTV. Two of the TV’s four HDMI inputs support 4K resolution at 144Hz, and Game Mode’s lower input lag delivers quicker response times during gaming. Google TV supports all your favorite streaming services, including Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, and HBO Max. Google TV also suggests programs based on what you normally watch, and with voice commands, you can tell it what you want to watch without searching each service individually.
Your purchase includes a Teak Frame that attaches directly to the sides of your TV, giving it the look of a framed painting, and an UltraSlim Wall Mount that lets you mount the TV flat against your wall. No additional accessories are needed to achieve the gallery look you want. Hisense’s 55″ Hi-QLED S7 CanvasTV Series 4K combines a great television with a piece of art. It’s a unique way to update your living space, and it looks just as good whether it’s on or off.
