With the Summer on it’s way, we’re going to have some warm nights ahead of us. Not all of those warrant keeping the AC running all night, though. As an alternative, you can set yourself up with a solid tower fan to help keep cool. This one from LEVOIT has several modes and speeds, and right now, it happens to be on sale. Normally this tower fan is sold for $25, but the 27% discount takes it down to just $55 for a limited time. Save yourself $20.
The tower fan uses both a curved air inlet and unique multi-blade design which is able to achieve a soft breeze that feels more like a natural wind than a fan blowing in the room. It’s able to efficiently cool your bedroom with a wide coverage and 25 ft/s speeds. IT can oscillate in a 90-degree path to ensure all corners of the room can feel its air flow.
Efficient Cooling Through the Night
Equipped with a smart sensor, this tower fan can react to its environment. In practice, what this means is you can set it to rapid cool when it’s first turned on at night as you’re getting into bed. Then it will automatically adjust in response to the temperature, slowing down once the room is sufficiently cooled while you are asleep. And it does so with minimal noise so you can fall asleep, distraction free. The fan can get as quiet as just 28dB and when used in Advanced Sleep mode, it will automatically turn the display off as not to illuminate the room.
Advanced Sleep is just one of the four modes. Also supported are Normal mode, Turbo mode, and Auto mode. Turbo is good for when you are engaged in high intensity activity, such as running on a treadmill and Auto is great for just going about your daily activities. Additionally, there are five different speeds settings which you can adjust to your preference.
Everything is controlled either right at the fan or via the included remote. The top panel has buttons to change the speed and modes, as well as to set a timer. The remote has the same but lets you control at a distance—great to just keep that on your nightstand. If you don’t have a need for the remove, it can be safely store in a dedicated space on top of the fan.
Maintenance is also a breeze (pun intended). The inside of the fan is easily accessed so you can give it a once over every now and again when coming by with the vacuum. Then when you want to give it a real cleaning, both the cover and fan blades can be removed and washed in water.
