The Nothing Ear (3) Wireless Earbuds have nothing but transparency, literally. With the addition of polished metal accents, along with an innovative new feature, a Super Mic located in the charging case, Nothing has taken its transparent style to a whole other level. With adaptive noise cancellation, you can eliminate up to 45 decibels of noise, the 12mm driver delivers rich, detailed sound, and LDAC streaming lets you listen at high resolution directly from compatible Android phones. You get up to 10 hours of listening time with the ANC turned off, and up to 38 hours of total battery life including the charging case.
Transparent wireless earbuds with adaptive noise canceling and a mic in the case
Nothing’s Ear (3) wireless earbuds offer advanced features, including adaptive ANC, Transparency mode, Hi-Res audio via LDAC, the Super Mic, wireless charging, an IP54 rating, and customizable options in the Nothing X app. When you press the Talk button on the charging case, the Super Mic activates like a separate mic designed specifically for making calls in loud areas, filtering out ambient noise up to 95 dB. You can also use it to make voice notes, which are transcribed in Nothing’s Essential Space app.
With its ability to adjust to different environments, adaptive ANC helps minimize up to 45 decibels of background noise, so whether you’re commuting through a crowded city or working in a bustling office environment, you can focus on what matters most. When you need to stay aware of your surroundings while still listening to content, Transparency mode lets you hear your environment.
While many earbuds deliver great bass response thanks to large drivers, the Ear (3)’s 12mm dynamic drivers deliver both strong bass and clear detail. Because these earbuds support LDAC, you can listen to 24-bit audio with supported Android devices.
A key part of the complete Ear (3) experience is the Nothing X app. It offers you several features, such as an adjustable equalizer for adjusting the frequency balance of the music you’re listening to, customizable options for changing the function of the controls on the earbuds, an ear tip fit test for ensuring a proper seal in order to maximize performance and clarity, and Find My Buds.
Battery life is about 5.5 hours per charge with ANC enabled and up to 10 hours per charge with ANC disabled. Battery life extends with the charging case, for a combined total of 22 hours with ANC activated and 38 hours with ANC deactivated. A 10-minute charge yields up to 10 hours of playtime with the case, and the charging case itself is Qi-compatible for wireless charging.
These earbuds communicate over Bluetooth 5.4, supporting dual connections that let you easily switch between your smartphone and computer. A low-lag mode also enables fast communication for gaming or watching videos. Both the earbuds and the charging case boast an IP54 rating, protecting them against dust and water and allowing them to withstand normal sweat during exercise or light rain. In terms of design aesthetic, the aluminum case and metal accents give the Nothing Ear (3) Wireless Earbuds a sleek and premium feel.
