The Tineco iFLOOR 5 Breeze Complete Wet Dry Vacuum vacuums and mops in one pass over hard floors, with no need to sweep first and mop afterward. This unit has a dual-tank design that separates dirty water from clean water, so when you’re cleaning, only clean water goes onto the floor. Around 35 minutes of cleaning can be accomplished with a full battery. The self-clean feature activates with one button press and runs through the rollers and hose as well. Two modes are available: an Eco setting for most everyday messes and a Max setting for bigger ones. Each water container holds 0.8 liters and 0.72 liters, respectively, and they’re located on the body of the unit so you can pull them off to fill and empty them.

A wet dry vacuum that can help you get all your cleaning done in one sweep

Cleaning your floors with a mop bucket is usually ineffective within the first few minutes, because you’re essentially just spreading dirty water around the room. In this case, the dual-tank system holds 0.8 liters of clean water in one tank and pulls the dirty water into a separate 0.72-liter tank. That way, every time you mop your floors, the water is clean.

Both tanks are also 30% larger than those used in the iFLOOR 3 series, so you’ll need to go to the sink less often because they hold more before needing to be emptied. The vacuuming and washing are done in one pass, so when you encounter a spill, a crumb, or dirt and grime on your floor, everything gets cleaned up at once instead of going through the process twice. This product is designed for sealed hard flooring, including hardwood, tile, marble, and laminate. Tineco says the floors are left dry and streak-free, typically within seconds of you passing over them.

Another design element is the flat scraper, which may seem unimportant but plays a major role. During cleaning, the scraper clears debris off the rotating roller and forces dirty water out of it. Because the roller is cleaned during each use, it doesn’t smear dirt back onto the floor.

Tineco claims the self-cleaning feature is completely hands-free and takes about 40 seconds. To do this, you place the unit back on its stand, press the button, and the machine rinses the roller and internal tubing. It then spins the roller to remove excess moisture before the next cleaning cycle.

Edge cleaning reaches within 0.2 inches of a baseboard, which handles the strip along a wall and the corners that a round mop head always misses. Dirt also tends to collect most in that area, so it’s a useful place to reach. The Tineco iFLOOR 5 Breeze Complete Wet Dry Vacuum is $189 right now instead of $300, and it takes about four hours to charge fully from empty.
