The DJI Neo is a mini drone that features a 4K UHD camera and lets you capture stunning aerial shots from angles that a standard camera can’t offer. If you’ve been thinking of picking one up, Amazon has a deal you wouldn’t want to miss.
The retailer just knocked 15% off this mini drone camera, dropping the $199 price to $169. It’s now a little easier on your wallet, but because the deal could end soon, you’ll be better off ordering now without wasting time.
Stable, high-quality footage with the 4K camera
At just 135g, this drone is easy to travel with. It’s lighter than your phone and doesn’t even need an FAA registration for recreational use.
Getting started is also pretty straightforward; simply download the DJI Fly app through the official DJI website, activate your drone, and choose a filming mode. Once it’s all set for its first flight, it can take off from your palm with a single push of a button. You can use your phone to manage the flight, or even just control the drone with your voice! It doesn’t come with a remote control, but you can buy one separately too if your phone isn’t cutting it.
The 4K camera delivers stunning, detailed visuals. Plus, there are a whole bunch of advanced features that make the filming process feel almost effortless. For instance, Subject Tracking keeps you (or another subject) in frame throughout the session, even when you’re running around or showing off some cool dance skills. You can also pick from eight different shooting modes, including Follow, DirectionTrack, Dronie, Circle, Rocket, Spotlight, Helix, and Boomerang. Each of these has a different flight pattern, which makes it easy to get the angles you need without having to operate the drone yourself.
After filming, the DJI Neo can return to the takeoff point safely. It also comes back automatically when the battery is running low or if the drone loses signal in the middle of a session. And speaking of battery, one full charge gives you about 18 minutes of total flight time. It should be enough for most casual filming sessions, but if you think you’ll need more, you might want to pick up a spare battery.
The package comes with the DJI Neo, a battery, propeller guards, and everything else you need to get started on your aerial filming journey. The drone camera is now down to $169, after a nice 15% discount on its usual $199 price.
