When it comes to competitive gaming, refresh rate is what’s most important, and 240Hz is when the display draws, or refreshes, images on the screen 240 times per second, as opposed to the 60 times a regular monitor does. This results in clearer motion when you’re rapidly changing direction, and reduced lag or delay from the time you move your mouse until the screen shows that movement.
