Video doorbells can be extremely practical. These cameras you can stick on your front door can be used to keep and eye on the front of your property from anywhere and even enable communication with your guests when they are arriving, or to reply to strangers coming to your door. If you live somewhere in which package theft is an issue, you’ll have a record of anyone who comes to your door. Heck, even just having the video doorbell visible could be enough of a deterrent that wrongdoers might find themselves more inclined to just try someplace else instead of your home.
Amazon has its own lineup of video doorbells with the Blink Wired Doorbell 2K+ being on sale at the moment for more than half off. A discount of 52% ends up taking the price down from its usual of $50 to just $24 for a limited time. You’re saving yourself $26. The doorbell camera is also available in both black and white, each of which are on sale for the same amount so you can pick whichever one better matches your home knowing you’re getting the best deal.
As the name implied, the Blink Wired Doorbell 2K+ is able to record in high detail, capturing everything in 2K resolution. This has enough clarity that you should easily be able make out people’s faces as well as license plate information on vehicles parked within frame.
Constant Hardwired Power
Some video doorbells are wireless. The benefit to these is clear. You can install them anywhere you’d like to without any worry about running power to it. The problem then becomes that since it’s battery powered, you’re going to have to either replace them or recharge your doorbell every so often which can be an inconvenience.
This Blink Doorbells 2K+ is wired so you’ll never have to worry about battery life. You might think that this would mean that installation is much harder, but it really isn’t. It doesn’t require a professional, you can do it yourself in just a matter of minutes by wiring it into you existing doorbell wiring.
Do note though that this model does not ring your existing doorbell chime. You can, however, pair it with the Blink chime which you can set up in any room in your house. Amazon offers it bundled with the Blink Wired Doorbell 2K+ and that bundle also happens to be on sale. Together, this kit normally costs $80, but its been discounted down by 39% to just $49 for a limited time.
