I really don’t get the cult following of this title. I bought it for $20, played it for about 5 hours, and was bored out of my mind. It felt like a b-tier version of a multitude of games I’d already played. I don’t know, maybe I’ll pick it back up again eventually. Read more

The thing that infuriated me about this game’s DLC cycle was that they went out of the way to codify the concept of the Echo fighter, slot a few old characters like Dr. Mario into that role, and add a few new ones in the leadup, but then it just died there.
