I would. The comedy is very cynical (not perverse or slapsticky) and just because its more prevalent in season, it doesn’t mean the good teenage drama isn’t there. The second season just becomes all about the drama set up in the first season. Read more

No, anime is like 80% set in high schools. Very rarely does it actually deal with a realistic portrayal of high school life—much less the mentality of real teenagers instead of idealized caricatures. Read more
