@Spawny0908: It doesn't work with money, as far as I know. You just go to the DS settings before starting up the game and chance the date and time. Read more
The same thing works for the DS. With Pokemon HeartGold I was able to change the date to whatever day I wanted to buy certain items and do certain things. Read more
