@Julimano: I'm curious what you found generic about it. I believed it was an above-average science fiction story. Not the best, mind you, but one of the better stories I've seen in a video game. Read more

Story development suffers in the west? Call me crazy, but I can't recall a recent JRPG with a coherent enough story to even come close to the Mass Effect franchise. Read more

Ease of controls is one thing, but I'd hate to see this new Zelda easier in game play. If anything, they should keep the puzzles just as hard and add an "expert" mode for us Zelda fans so getting all the heart pieces and keeping faeries in bottles will actually be a viable option again. Read more

Fire pig! Now I need to trade fire monkey over from platinum, and throw fire lizard into the mix, and I'll have the most awesome team ever. Read more

I have a roommate that got turned on by my pre-ordered Juri and Chin-Li thumb puppets. Read more

He beats people with his health bar?! Fuck, I didn't think Deadpool could get any cooler. Read more

Greg Zeschuck and Ray Muzyka, the founders of BioWare. I've had the opportunity to meet and talk to Greg, and he's an amazing guy. BioWare games also tend to feel like games made exactly for my tastes. Example: Dragon Age was inspired by Georoge R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" series, my favorite of all time. Read more

With all this 3D mumbo jumbo that's being forced upon us lately, I sure as hell hope they lower the cost of laser eye surgery sometime soon. Read more

Despite seeming rather un-X-Com like, I'll probably still play this. I know a lot of people are upset, and that is justified, but this still looks neat, and it's a well renowned team making it. Read more

So Plunkett asked us gamers what we're afraid of, and I was surprised to see a large amount of individuals who share my fear of Greys/Aliens. Read more

@Metalive: I understand that kind of irrational behavior. If anything weird were to happen, especially at night, I would automatically assume aliens. When I was younger I believed if I went to bed before 12:34 they'd come for me. Needless to say I was frequently tired at school the next day. Read more

@toejam316: Yeah. I never past the part in Perfect Dark where you found Elvis in that secret lab or whatnot. I forgot about that. Read more

I do bad with Aliens in real life. Like Grays. I don't actually believe they're out to get me. Just an irrational fear. This hasn't effected my gaming much at all though, since there are few sources of actual Grays in games. Fallout 3 was probably the only notable source when I ran into those crashed aliens after Read more

A lot of this has to do with what games are topical at the time. I'm sure Halo scored higher because there's been a lot of talk about it lately, same with Call of Duty. If we were closer to E3 and had official footage of the new Zelda title, I'm sure it would also score higher. This goes for other games as well. Read more

One of gaming's most recognizable characters? That rules out a Pikmin or Kid Icarus. Star Fox would be my best bet, but I wouldn't be surprised if they went all Zelda on our asses before E3. Read more

This is kind of terrifying. I'm getting my BA in English for the soul purpose of using it to write about or in the video game industry. Like Sean said, I've always kind of figured my destiny was intertwined with games somehow. Read more

Every BioWare style game from Neverwinter to Mass Effect 2. I don't know if you could call these a franchise, but the BioWare feel is very evident in all of their titles. Read more
