@arionfrost: My bad. It was actually because all the PC gamers in my social circle are right into SC2 and didn't seem at all interested in DR2. My X-Box friends were another story. Read more

@Boomaga: Who cares about nostalgia; I'm just glad we finally have a modern game that doesn't hold your hand the whole way through. It's a game for people who want a challenge. They don't make enough of those anymore. Having to save once in a while and complete a game a couple times to get everything doesn't make it Read more

@arionfrost: I just gave Katey her second Zombrex dose myself. I've only gotten one SC2 match in since it came out. Don't you have it for PC though? Mine is on X-Box; not sure if it's cross compatible; but my gamertag is NeoStarr if you wanna add me. Read more

@Boomaga: I just wanna say that I'm SOOOOOOO HAPPY that they kept all those things in. They make it feel more like a retro game, where pattern memorization, risk/reward assessment, and timing are all key elements of gameplay; not just running your bullet riddled ass from checkpoint to checkpoint until the next Read more

@Yossarian: Java isn't the final language. I don't think he ever intended for his project to become as big as it is, so when it was first created Java was probably just the easiest solution for him to finish up development quickly and effectively as a one man team. I'd be shocked if it wasn't ported by the time the Read more

@MrMrScott: Those are actually my 2 favourite things about it. I prefer retro games to modern ones myself because todays games are all about hauling your bullet riddled ass to the next checkpoint and getting as much done as you can in a single playthrough. Naturally, it takes the creator of Mega Man to bring the retro Read more

@unknownsock: It's about a million times easier than the original because they cured the survivors of their down syndrome. It's still one of the harder modern games; but nowhere near as difficult as the brick wall of a learning curve that was Dead Rising 1. Read more

@Fernando Jorge: You're picking apart aspects of the game that were intentionally undermined to make room for more of what you supposedly want. The plot is definitely not on par with other games; it's pretty clear that they didn't even try with that one. One mission you're fighting zombies on a haunted island and the Read more

@BattleMoose87: I read some Resident Evil books as a kid that didn't completely suck. They were buy a guy named S. D. Perry. Actually had some pretty scary moments. Read more

Now playing

@Fernando Jorge: All the time spent in creating a plot would be put in creating an even more entertaining world. There, I could sink hours in this game.

Hey guise, what's goin on in here?

@BattleMoose87: I believe you're thinking of Snake's Revenge; which was actually on the NES. It's one of those things like Friday the 13th movies or Jersey Shore; where it's so bad it's almost entertaining to watch and make fun of. Read more

@BattleMoose87: I believe you can only get MSX games on Japanese Wii's, and the NES versions are no where near as good, so it's doubtful. I haven't been on the VC in a while though. ROMs may be your best option if you can't read Japanese; since I think MG2 only ever got a fan translation and not an official one. Read more

@arionfrost: Absolutely loving it. I was a huge fan of the first game too, and this one is a big improvement. It's not quite as difficult as I expected, but I think a huge part of that is because the survivors no longer act like they have down syndrome. All the same, I'm glad they kept that save system after so many Read more

@Arnheim: Are you questioning the infallibility of Duct Tape? I used Duct Tape to make a shotgun fire pitchforks! Read more

@Pyroninja42: No, but you spend enough time in the shop and I'd imagine there are certain things you'd just pick up instinctively. Read more
