Yeah, part of the reason I have a beefy PSU was because I’ve run SLI setups in previous builds. I’ll consider venting air downward, not a bad idea. I’ve certainly got enough fans! Read more

Yeah, that looks like a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo. I had one of those on an old rig from ages ago (you can see it in the picture up top), but because I’m a chump I lost a few of the parts I need to connect it to the motherboard. Their US online store is currently down so I haven’t been able to order replacement parts Read more

I’ve tested the radiator fans in both configurations, and it actually runs cooler the way I’ve got it set up. Just a bit cooler, but cooler. Blowing warm air from the case up from the GPU over the radiator wasn’t cooling it as effectively as pushing cool air down from above it. (Of course, “best” is relative. I’m not Read more

I could totally see liking it better with it off entirely. I’m one of those weirdos who tends to play PC games with motion blur/chromatic aberration/etc turned on, but turning it off makes the game look cleaner and sharper, and def not “worse” or anything. Read more

There were definitely some things toward the end that I had to look up, but I was surprised by how much of the game I managed to uncover Read more

Yeah! I wanted to play as much as I could blind, but now that I’ve finished, I can’t wait to watch speedruns. It’s the very next thing I’m gonna do. Read more

Rest assured that for every smooth performance like the one in that gif, there were two times when he landed directly on me or crunched me with his hammer. And yeah, those little tri-shooting fuckers might be the most deadly enemy in the game. Every time they turn up in the coliseum, I start sweating. Read more

Speaking of video games with good dodges...

Nice, I’m glad to hear it! And... just wait, man. You ain’t seen nothing yet. I’m excited on your behalf. Read more

If I recall correctly, they took their time publicly releasing that very first Witcher 3 theater demo they showed at E3, which also was written previews only. Though they did eventually put it on YT, or at least something like it. I dunno if they’ll follow the same timeframe this time around. I hope they post it at Read more

Yeah, they talk about it toward the end of the interview. I’m paraphrasing, but Mills basically says there were aspects of the world and the experience of being in it that they thought were best conveyed in first-person, specifically the feeling of looking up and seeing huge skyscrapers towering above you. Yeah, though it was actually back last fall - I’ll add a mention of that to round out the sleuthing timeline. Read more
