Ha, I noticed that too. I thought maybe it was the kerning on the "N" but nope, probably just sloppiness. Read more

Despite being a King fan since I was a kid, I've never actually read the book. I think I will - I know the general gist and its sounds waaaaay more interesting than the movie. Read more

I had a similar experience - I kept thinking that the shooting should feel good, since the world always looked like it had so much weight, but that never really happened. Read more

Hmm. Grime is like... dust that has somehow absorbed some moisture from the air, maybe? Or maybe it's just dust that has settled to the point that it's no longer dust. Read more

Yeah, I found that when I did a super gnarly clean a year or two ago. I cleaned about a pound of dust out of my fans and found that the whole thing ran about 40% quieter. That sound grows in volume over time and it's easy not to notice it, and then suddenly you can't hear yourself think. Read more

aaaaand the saga continues on day 2:

I agree, to a point - Borderlands can get tiresome, and a more subdued game in the same mode could be welcome. Though it'd need to put something in place of Borderlands' gags and meta humor, more than just a bunch of bland stuff about saving the universe and "I have a bad feeling about this." Read more

And with a big-ass highlight reel, that wraps it up for Sony. That was a pretty damned impressive press conference! We'll have all the videos and news on Kotaku soon, if it's not already there. Read more

It's a dark, spooky jungle. Skeletons hanging in cages, Game is Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, coming in 2015. Read more

We've got Nathan Drake loading a gun, climbing up out of a creek in the jungle. "I've been out of the game. I need back in. Can I count on you? One last time?" Read more

Naughty Dog logo hits the screen, and the crowd goes just apeshit. Read more
