The baby raccoon series was really heartbreaking. There was a Sunday strip that touched on a lot of the same themes:

In Disney World, the drunk pirates firing guns at the very very end of the ride - after the jail scene - are gone. They’re the ones firing guns at the live gunpowder. They’re replaced by Johnny Depp singing to himself, surrounded by treasure.

There was a brief moment in the late 90's when they had onboard stereo at Disneyland’s Space Mountain. That was awesome. Read more
