The funny thing is, he doesn’t have to get overtly political at all to denounce violence and hate. There are plenty of other big name LPers who don’t get political at all but still manage to have an overall message of positivity and acceptance. Three large channels I can think of would be Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, Read more

I commend him for wanting to stay in his area of expertise. I’d rather he say he doesn’t know or doesn’t care than say something stupid that millions of people and media outlets would run with. Everyone wants to have a voice and be important. He just wants to play video games and make stupid videos and make money Read more

“But it’s also kind of like, Ehh, don’t drag me into your politics.” Read more

Man, thank you for giving her work some shine right now. She’s an awesome dev. Read more

The same counts for magazines, and in that case, if you reload a magazine when you still have bullets in your gun, those are gone for good Read more

SCP is a grand example of how creative we can push towards unsettling imagry, so much so that Stephen King probably would blow his head off and containment would be initiated. Read more

Control is the only recent game where I read ALL the documents I found. The world they built is so fascinating! Especial the reports on the different objects of power!

I haven’t played Control yet because I have an enormous backlog and I’m waiting for them to hopefully improve PS4 performance, but the SCP Foundation ate up so much of my time in college. I’ll still go back now and then and read some of the new entries. This is such a cool article that’s right in my wheelhouse, great Read more

This is how I felt when I finished the Blood & Wine DLC for Witcher 3. I’d been playing the game for so long and had done so much all over the world that, when it finally ended, I felt a great sadness. I knew that, while I could come back and explore more, I would never embark on a great quest with Geralt again. Read more

I hear ya.  My shameful secret is that there is at-least one particular game that I will defend as one of the greatest games of all time, and most certainly the best of it’s rather extensive series, that I have never finished... I love the game, I’ve sunk many, many hours into it, restarted it a number of times on Read more

I’m in the power plant. It’s so much fun. I wish I could make it harder so it takes longer to beat. The dlc should have an arena mode.  Read more

I thought I was the only weirdo with this problem. I think I’m slightly worse because I’ll forget what happened, then in 6 months go back and watch it till almost the end again and then get distracted again. Read more

I kinda felt the same way about every single Zelda game. I always get to a point where they feel like home and I don’t want them to end, so I put off the final fights until the very end. Read more

Gita I know exactly how you feel. I’m the same way with anime; once I get near the end, I usually get distracted. If I let it lapse for a few weeks I’ll never come back. It feels like closing the door on a world you’ve gotten to know for the past 15+ hours and often comes with a sense of finality and dread. Read more

Kinda reminds me of the ugly-ass Engineering building at Binghamton University:

Hey uh this looks a LOT like the UC Davis Death Star building...a local favorite for high school games of zombie tag :3

The Oldest House definitely reminds me of Cal’s architecture/College of Environmental Design building, Wurster Hall (yes, every freshman joked that it was called that because it was the “worst” building on campus)
