Shroud is correct in saying that the skullpiercer hopup and rate of fire weren’t the issue with the Wingman. The dedicated Apex discord I’m part of were also saying that they should drop the damage from 45 to 40-35 per hit. That way no matter what you’ll need at least 3 hits to take down someone with no armor. Read more

I really hope that the approach they took with Apex changes how the industry thinks about releasing and patching these types of games. Apex might be the most complete and polished multiplayer shooter out of the gate of any kind in the last 2-3 years and it seems like they are being rewarded for it.
