The way I see it, the most likely "death" to the kickstarter/crowdfunding phenomenon would be if several of the big ones fail to deliver.

That IS what he's doing. He wants a 2 mil investment in exchange for 10% of his business. If 10% is worth 2 million then 100% is worth 20 million. His business is not worth 20 million so he has over valued his company a proposed a bad deal. Read more
