I'm fairly certain that MS originally (wrongly) assumed that this was a joke name, I mean they guy's name is Dick Gay Wood for Christ's sake. To anyone considering making the $60-for-$600 router mentioned in this article: Get Tomato, not DD-WRT. It's a lot more stable and functional, especially when ti comes to QoS. Read more
