@Bipolar.Bear.Disorder: To get people to start using Steam. It's just a way to attract new customers to the PC market, and not proof of migration. Valve makes the most money off of a game sale when customers use Steam (they get all of it instead of the 43% they get from a console sale.) Read more

@Heliophage: I don't know why they would have to abandon it. The games in the series are unrelated, so all they have to do is create a good game. Read more

Square Enix has spent a lot of their cachet, but they can build it back up by releasing a really good game in a recognizable series. If Sonic Colors can restore some degree of faith in Sonic, I don't see why a quality entry couldn't do the same for a company far less derided. Read more
