Just another adventure for Calvin and Hobbes. This eight-inch-tall figure was sculpted and hand-painted by Emily Coleman of emilySculpts.com. As they always say, the sincerest form of flattery is when someone remakes your stuff in Unreal Engine 4. This time, the remakee is Hideo Kojima's P.T., and the remaker is level artist Jonathan Vallieres, this being his first, 2.5-month UE4 project. Here's a team of astronauts, busy building the Endurance from Interstellar in blocky Minecraft form. The vessel was recreated in-game by the Korea-based Team Lopac, who also shot a timelapse video of the construction for the project's Planet Minecraft page. You can find the clip below.

This is the Dungeon Heart and the treasury from a Minecraft recreation of a whole Dungeon Keeper 2 map. It was built by YouTuber spumwack in survival mode, which means he gathered all the materials by hand. Nicely done! This "40-minute Photoshop" was uploaded to the DayZ subreddit by Sweden-based Statsmakten, and shows what life might have been like in Chernarus (specifically, Olsha) before the zombie apocalypse. Nothing says video games like a space marine dancing to "Funkytown" in a subway station. This is a "learning project" made by game designer Frank Van Noordt—in his words, it turned out "better than [he] thought." Make sure to watch the vid below, it's a lot better with music. Reminds me of that old LithTech demo.

Red Faction: Guerrilla, the free-roam action game where you blow up buildings on Mars, just got a free "Steam Edition" update on PC. Among other things, the patch moves the game to Steamworks, adding leaderboards, achievements and trading cards, and completely removes Games for Windows Live. Full patch notes here. Read more
