Ubisoft's got a bad history of unskippable credits in the Assassin's Creed games until AC4 (particularly bad because those are some of the longest and slowest credit sequences in history). Double Dragon: Neon isn't that far from perfect. It's damned close - one of the best side-scrolling beat-'em-ups ever! I put it right up next to Aliens vs. Predator arcade from Capcom. Both have tons of complexity that's recommended to explore to get the most from the game but not necessary to enjoy it, and great

I'll have to add Bayonetta. You play through 3-4 combat sequences that count towards your final score, set to a jazzy and upbeat soundtrack that times perfectly to what's going on. Your results for those sequences are then inserted into the credits. Probably my favorite of all time.

It wasn't for the whole of the credits, only the start but I liked what they did at the end of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. For such a high action game to have an ending sequence like that was a nice tonal shift.

Devil May Cry 3, if you manage to kill something like 100 enemies before the credits end, you get to see a bonus special ending to the story

As an iconic character of the series it's a huge disappointment that things like this become exclusives in any form, whether it's pre-order, DLC. Why not just charge extra for people to get SubZero, Scorpion, or Raiden while you're at it? Read more
