Oh, I know it'll be fine to understand spoken or written. Yeah, the differences are usually pretty subtle. As I said, it's mostly in the spelling where you see differences pop up, especially in a game I'd assume. I doubt the usual UK friendly banter will be in the game ;) Read more

What the... WHAT THE F*** IS GOING ON IN THAT PICTURE?!?!?!?!? Read more

That's almost like saying Spanish is Spanish. Not entirely the same, although spoken, UK English and US English have far less differences. Written though, I'm expecting the subtitles will also be left along with their UK spellings which will probably make some US gamers go "SPELLING ERROR!" Read more

Did you not read what I said? I said the inventory system sucked. >.> I never said that it made it better. Nor did I ever say anything against the choice system. FFS, do you work for Faux News, pulling shit out of your ass? Read more

Been so long I can't recall the differences, but I remember back then there was 1st vs 2nd edition players. I loved the 2nd edition books and artwork. Wish I still had them, as I had pretty much everything. Read more

Nice post, and I completely understand what ya said about FF vs ME. And despite the changes, I still bought ME2, played through it. Despite not really liking it even 1/2 as much as ME, I still preordered ME3 CE back in June last year without hesitation, so... Clearly I enjoy the franchise, even if it's not all I Read more

Oh and, if you had a hard time with the armor bit, or understanding weapons, etc...

I remember as recent as last summer wanting to hit the person who designed those planets with insane mountains that were nearly impossible to get over. 90% of the frustration people had with the driving segments I think wouldn't exist if that idiot didn't think it would be cool to fill every planet with stupid Read more

Tell me... How does this picture make you feel?

I played through ME1 on the 360 4 times. 3 of those times all back to back, the 4th time right as ME2 was coming out for exporting. Read more

Yes, but at least you were doing stuff in all of that... The giant worms, geth ambushes, turrets, sometimes you'd run into local wildlife. You could hunt for crashed ships, minerals, etc. Most of which was entirely optional. However, scanning planets... If you wanted to upgrade anything, it wasn't optional. It was an Read more

Percentage?!? Did you notice he had no idea what 12% health increase and 5hp/sec regen means? And you expect him to understand a bargraph based on a percentage?!? Face it... He's hopeless. Read more

Haha, I was thinking the same thing. He said he was able to get his Mii character to look more like him. Makes you wonder. Read more

Hmm, the driving wasn't so bad imo, it was the fact whoever designed the planets you landed on thought it would be fun to make huge spikey walls of mountains everyf'inghwhere, and THAT got really old really fast trying to get up and over that stuff. Read more

I loved the original interface with the exception of the inventory system. It didn't sort items well (only by the level of the item), and by the end, you'd have a huge inventory of things with no ability to REALLY sort it out. Read more
