Flawless Widescreen is the name of the app that the plugin is for, simple to use. The bloom fix doesn't seem to work so well, and I can't find a fix in the list of commands. You can also just download a free app called Flawless Widescreen which will automatically remove the bars and make a few more fixes to TEW, as well as several dozen other games that have random aspect ratio and other issues. I highly recommend it. Read more

I would say the FOV fix that's out there is a bigger deal than removing the black bars, because when removing the black bars certain HUD elements don't account for the lack of them (which is understandable) but the FOV fix is the most important thing out there. :p Read more

Those aspect ratio commands don't change the aspect ratio, it just zooms the image in, so instead of black bars, the left and right sides go off-screen. However, there is a real fix now using flawless widescreen: Read more
